The Great Work  of the alchemists is and always was personal
transmutation
- the metals were a means to an end, and the truth of the
matter has, like all other important truths, been manipulated and concealed
over the years.

Gold has always been esteemed highly both in material and spiritual terms,
not only for its beauty, but for its 'magical' properties. Once transmuted to a
high-spin 'monatomic' state and charged, it weighs less than nothing and
imparts its weightlessness to the scale pan containing it.  Also, ingested as

mfkzt
or the Philosophers' Stone, it has assisted in the ascension through
the octaves of being for many thousands of years, enabling communication
with those 'gods' - or, if you will, 'spacemen' - who hybridized us to mine the
stuff for them in the first place in order that they might be able to restore
balance to their home planet where conditions had become a little
uncomfortable due to carelessness rather similar to that which we have
displayed here on this one.

Magic and Alchemy have turned into Science and Chemistry and are no
longer regarded as particularly exciting by most, and the idea of existence
on many levels to any of which one can consciously ascend is, sadly,
regarded with scepticism by many. It is not any less true for that, and, whilst
circumspection is healthy to a degree, so is open-mindedness.

The powders will help, but only if you know where you are heading;
otherwise, it's just like running for a bus and jumping on, regardless of
where it's going. In the immortal words of George Harrison; 'If you don't
know where you're going...'
